Last week's photo:

And today, at seven weeks:

Clearly we are continuing to get larger. She can now feel the pups moving quite often - you will see her turn quickly and nibble at her sides as if they itch. She will sometimes turn and give her abdomen a quizzical look as if to say, "WHAT is going on in there???"
I've begun adding yogurt AND egg to her food now at night and she's now eating the same amount of supper (plus the yogurt & egg) but twice as much breakfast. That adds up to about 20% more food than normal. Which seems to be plenty. YOu can see she has a bit of a roll on her rear but I can still easily feel her ribs. It's not helpful for momdogs to become OBESE before delivery. Once the pups arrive, she will need an enormous amount of food while nursing (depending on the size of the litter) but for now, this is clearly plenty.
About 2 weeks to go now!
